”Message” is an installation I made for a group exhibition “The Shift”, which was held in Gallery White Box, Campus Allegro, and curated by Ingela Bodbacka-Rak.

In the poem I ponder on various philosophical questions which have been bothering me at the time. I leave it up to the viewer to decide whom this message is addressed to.

This work is a very good example of my overall style. It is clean, short and simple, yet it has a deeper meaning with every single detail being crucial in the overall composition.

Video performance was  displayed on a LG G5 phone which was hidden in a little black box and connected to an active Genelec speaker.

For this project I worked with a sound design student Oskar Packalén, who helped me to record, mix, and master the sound exactly for the selected speaker model and the room in which the video was played. The phone was chosen because of its 4k resolution screen.
